Speaker Joe Straus has created a new House Select Committee on Economic Competitiveness. This committee, chaired by Rep. Byron Cook (R-Corsicana), will look at factors drawing businesses to Texas like education and infrastructure. To read more…

Tuesday, November 7th is the day Texans will vote on Constitutional Amendments proposed by the Texas Legislature. Early voting starts Monday, October 23rd and ends Friday, November 3rd.
