Rep. Jason Villalba (R-Dallas) has filed House Bill 724 to officially recognize March 6th as Alamo Day, in remembrance of the 1836 Battle of the Alamo. Alamo Day would join the ranks of state holidays, such as Texas Independence Day and San Jacinto Day. To read more…
